Factoring Polynomials

This free math video shows the second time my girls and I played with factoring polynomials. The first time we did it, our “x squared” was not covered with paper on the side so it looked like 10 and that made it confusing. We fixed that and re-recorded what we had done in the first video.

These ideas come directly from Crewton Ramone’s House of Math. I only learned how to do this two weeks ago. He’s been teaching it for 22 years, so go check out his stuff!

Does anyone else out there wonder why algebra isn’t taught this way everywhere?
